Willcocks Auto & Marine Ltd came to fruition when Director Kyle Willcocks jumped on the opportunity to buy an established workshop in Tauriko, Tauranga where he lives with his wife and son. Kyle made the decision to end his 8 year career working in the underground mining industry in Perth, where Kyle started out as a light vehicle fitter, maintaining fleets of Toyota Land Cruisers, Hilux and Hiace models. He then made the transition to heavy mining equipment, where he eventually became a workshop Supervisor.

It's safe to say he knows a thing or two about Diesels!!

Kyle, an easy-going kind of guy, envisioned establishing a business that would offer transparency with customers, competitive rates and all-round excellent service and never losing sight of that.

The AUTO division being the main source of work and a labour of love. 

​

The FARM division was established fortuitously when friends started coming to him with their farm equipment predominantly tractors, for servicing and repairs.

​

The MARINE division was established due to Kyle's passion for everything boating and fishing and in the early days it was apparent that it was an in-demand service in the beautiful BOP.

​

Kyle owns a 1970 Mercedes Benz which he purchased in his early 20's and has gradually restored it to its former glory and is a testament to his skill and patience.

In his spare time he loves fishing and always has a project on the go.
